Visitors are always welcome to play at Port Chalmers Golf Club (for golf and Disc golf). You can come along at most times, pay your green fees and play or join us for a club competition (if you are registered with another club and have a handicap).

Green Fees

For 9 or 18 holes: $25

Pay by EFTPOS, Paywave, credit card, bank transfer or cash. If paying cash, please put your money in one of the envelopes provided, then put it in the slot marked “Green Fees”. The clubhouse isn’t always open, as it’s a volunteer-run club, so we appreciate your honesty.

Kids under 16 play for free.

Saturday competitions

Saturdays are our Club Days, with a competition from 12 noon until 4:30pm, when the course is closed to casual golfers (those not playing in the competition) during this time. You are welcome to join us on a comp Saturday however, if you are a member of another golf club. You pay $25 to play, with $20 being your green fees and $5 for comp fee (including the possibility of winning prizes for Nearest the Pin and for the 2s holes).

Course maintenance, special events and competitions

We periodically need to close the course during the year for maintenance and upgrades. We also host occasional inter-club competitions, Disc Golf tournaments and special golf events on the course, so will close the course at these times. We will generally announce these in advance via our Facebook page, and the ‘Course Closed’ sign will be up at the entrance to the course, near our Clubhouse.

Equipment Hire

$25 flat fee - hire of one set of clubs, trundler, balls and tees - all you need to play!

Please email us at portchalmersgolf@gmail.com ahead of your visit, and we can arrange for your set of clubs to be ready for you to collect. Payment can be made by the same method as for green fees.
